I contacted these movers to shift from Mumbai to Noida. The initial phone calls and contact seemed to be alright and I decided to go ahead with their service. However, the agreed price was changed when they came to pack my furniture even after one of their employees visited a day before and gave me a quotation.
A little difference in price is understandable but at nearly twice the quotation figure, I was extremely frustrated. Having no other option, since I had to catch a flight on the same day, I agreed to the price.
However, this wasn’t the end of the facade. In Noida, there delivery took over 4 weeks to arrive. This, after repeated visits and phone calls to their office. First they told me the cargo was in transit, then its reached Noida and they will deliver it in a day.
The next day they told me that it hasn’t even left their warehouse in Mumbai. On repeated questioning, this guy AMIT tells me that if I keep calling them to inquire about my cargo, it might just disappear along the way and that I can go file a report with the police if I want. This is their audacity.
In the end I had to pull a few strings with higher ups that I know after which they came back to me with their tail between their legs and even returned half the expenses as "compensation."
