Folks: I do not know if I am qualified to review APML. I tried my BEST to get them to help me with the packing and moving. It just never took off. It all started with me fixing an appt. for survey of my flat online on their website. I got 3 emails acknowledging the same, the emails also said I will be called by a service rep to confirm the details. No one called on the first day. I had made the arrangement with just 3 days to go for the move, so I panicked and called them. The common customer care person gave me a local number at Bangalore. Called that number several times, no one picked up. Called the customer care number again. They assured me that someone will call, they had left word etc. I waited for the call, another day passed with no call. With mounting panic, I called up the cc no again, this time I told them that the local number was useless, no one picks up. So they connected me directly to speak to the local office. With one day left to go for the survey, the local office assured me that there is no need for the confirmatory call. On the day of the service, the rep will call before coming. Next day dawned, 10 am was the survey appt. nothing stirred. I tried the cc no again, asked for connection got connected by 10:30 am, they said their person - gave a name too - had left for the survey, might be delayed due to traffic. They will contact and ask him to call. No progress till noon. I called again and this time the local office told me that the person called in sick, now they said - possibly as a warning - the local to local charges will start with a minimum price tag of Rs 15k! This was almost double what I thought I would be charged, I asked them how they can fix their price without survey. Now they said it can go up or come down - why call it minimum price then? I was totally dissatisfied with them and hung up. Fortunately got a small time packer called Aarju packers and movers who did a very efficient job at Rs 9.5k.
