My father in law recently chose to shift household goods from Kerala to Bangalore through Agarwal packers. I would like to warn anybody planning to use their services to know that my father-in-law had the most tortuous experience with these guys.
The material landed at the gates of our apartment complex. There was just one problem. There was no labor available to unload and unpack. The driver threatened to unload at the gate. The office of Agarwal packers and movers refused to do anything about it. After about 6 hours of calling whoever we could, they finally relented and agreed to do something on the following day. The total cost was Rs. 29000.
There are two companies that call themselves Agarwal packers and movers. The one that Iam talking about is held by a company that calls itself DRS logisticsand carries the logo of a man wearing a hat.
They claim on their website that there are other fraudulent companies calling themselves Agarwal packers and movers and taking customers for a ride. But please note that this company is as well equipped to take you for a ride as any fraudster might. Thankfully, as in most corporate entities, there are a few people who are committed to serving the customer. We managed to get through(by a sheer act of god) to one of them and the situation was resolved.
So think many times if you are enlisting the service of any Agarwal packers and movers. Avoid them if you can afford to and believe me you can.
