Agarwal Packers & Movers Group insists it is mandatory to have Product Insurance(1.5% for Local transfers & 3% for Intercity transfers) for the goods to be moved by them. But when you ask them to provide Insurance Certificate copy for the premium to be paid by you, they have no document / certificate to share in this regard.
They say that they need this premium to buy insurance for any damages that may occur during the shifting but again no insurance certificate copy to prove that!
So, effectively what they do is. they charge you for shifting your goods from Point A to B & then charge you an EXTRA FEE to assume responsibility to transfer those goods without damage which in the first place is their obvious responsibility anyway! If they really take Insurance cover for your cargo under any specific or blanet insurance policy, why can not they provide a certificate copy to prove it?
Long story short. Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd, (Agarwal Group) cheats people & extorts money from customers under the disguise of Cargo Insurance for which they have no documentation to support their claim!
STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. DON’T LET THEM CON YOU!
