Be wary of fraudulent companies with the name Agarwal Movers & Packers. We learnt it the hard way when we went online and picked up the first name after typing Agarwal on Google. Their assessor(Manoj Kumar; contact: 812 333 4141) came and provided a completely bogus estimate of 4-5 hours.
Their packers and movers took 14 hours to do the job . it was a mess, with the association folks breathing down our necks as the movement went on till late in the night. We were helpless observers in the whole thing. The ground people were completely clueless and incompetent and they pointed fingers at the management, which was anyways not willing to listen.
Multiple items were broken in shifting from one flat to another flat in the same complex. When my friend pointed out that the grounds people were not wearing Agarwal branded T-shirts, it is then that I realized we had been duped.
Lesson - never pick up the first number that comes up on the Net; do your due diligence and ask hard questions before proceeding.
