Does "A" really stand for Assurance. Think twice or maybe a dozen times before considering Agarwal Packers & Movers. The company is yet to achieve levels of Corporate Responsibility and Accountability to Customers. Very low level of customer sensitivity in their Management.
I had a strange experience with their Chennai & Delhi team. I preferred Agarwal brand to support my relocation and gave them the contract for moving household goods and my Car from Chennai to New Delhi.
Positives First: Household Goods transfer - Consignment No. CHE-023830 dated 12/04/2015
1) Brisk service
2) Adhered to time line in case of household goods - Excellent Stuff
3) Displayed accountability when one book rack broke in transit - they compensated nominally on their own - Good Stuff
Negatives Galore: Car Transfer - Consignment No. 023831 dated 12/04/2015
1) Car was received by Agarwal Packers team in Good & Running Condition by their Chennai Team
2) Their staff put Diesel in Petrol Car during transit
3) Car was delivered late due to this reason. It was sent in a truck unto my residence. All along people referred that my car was not starting and had to be pushed.
4) Their Delhi & Chennai team was co-operating till the time the car was delivered.
5) Visit to car workshop after delivery confirmed Diesel in Fuel Tank
6) A Diesel Bill also found in Car
7) Their top Management initially assured proper hearing and resolution of issue
8) However later on they denied any involvement which was their stand after good 15 days of follow-up - This displays that they were intentionally taking time.
9) A petrol bill was later fabricated and sent to me and their top management claimed that I was responsible for any damage to my Car.
10) Words Used by their Claims Head - "YOU CAN PROVE NOTHING"
Indeed, they are right. However, it is strange that none of their official contacted me after they delivered the car to my home. Looks like a lot of people colluded to get fabricated evidence together.
A really strange and bizarre experience. Please beware of such organisations.
For the record, I spoke with their Top Executive and indeed he also never bothered to investigate this case.
Caveat Emptor - Let the Buyer Beware!
