Agarwal Packers & Movers(DRS Group)- Worst company in relocation and logistics. The company is using cheap tricks, false claims and lies for propagating their business and deluding money off people.= I used their services for moving goods from Hyderabad to Gurgaon on 23/03/2014 via GC# 4365266. Not only did I pay a hefty sum for relocation but I also got my goods insured against the damages.
The truck arrived on 1/04/2014 and contrary to their claim of being shifting experts, they have completely broken my dining table, refrigerator base which needs support to stand straight and Activa silencer. They also claim to settle any damage within 14 days of filing complaint. It has been two months chasing their claims department, directors, customer care and heads for damage and repair but have not seen any response.
Modus Operandi
They lure you with their sugar coated words, self proclaimed expertise in shifting services, a fraud insurance contract which is only meant to trick money out of you. You are made to believe that you are paying a hefty amount for the hassle free services they offer.
They will give different reasons so that you put low price of goods(service tax, octroi and other bullshit) and don’t forget, you are paying 3% extra on the amount you are keeping for your goods. Once, you have put low prices on your precious goods, their job is done. It is now an insurance which doesn’t help you anyway. In the worst case, they will pay you only 60% of the price you have quoted.
Total cost of damage occurred amounts to Rs 50000 - Rs 55000.
Settlement amount Rs 3800(has not been settled yet).
Cost of insurance + tips Rs 3900.
Post loading, you will be virtually forced to pay more money as tips(khushi se) to the packing team. Your goods are loaded on to the truck, you have paid the amount in advance and out of worry for your goods safety, you end up paying them as well. There will not be any khushi and you only hope that everything reaches intact. It is a sheer blackmail by their team.
After a month of calling since April 1 at their numbers, I got the response from their executive that you must have got your goods repaired by now. OK, now you are telling me damage settlement was a self service. This is DRS group’s strategy don’t respond until the customer gives up and gets all the damage repaired by himself.(Feeling honored).
This one is best, when I posted the grievance at their facebook and twitter handle, instead of handling the complaint they blocked my account on Facebook (professionalism at it’s best and the intent of resolving customer issues forget paying back any damage amount).
