We shifted from Hyderabad to Gurgaon and used Agarwal packers and Movers which are part of the DRC Logistics company. Among all the packers we interviewed, t hey were the costliest, and they are the only packers who insisted on full payment before delivery. We thought since they are a reputed brand and may have standard practices. So we trusted and took their services. As long as the money was paid and the packing was done it was all fine.
Once it moved to Gurgaon we noticed that many of our important furniture had broken. We were promised it will be fixed, but other than temporary adjustments nothing major was done, we had to throw out all our good furniture. Secondly they broke the entire TV cabinet and it took two months of calling both Hyderabad and Gurgaon numbers to finally get the carpenter home. They have damaged my motorbike as well, the stand was broken and petrol filter was leaking.
I am yet to be paid on these. Most importantly please double check on the number of boxes, because we had 78 boxes while the packer wrote 76. We told the rates of our TV as 15, 000 he wrote 1000. TV Cabinet, and he wrote 1000. With such a big list we think these guys are honest and professional to do the right thing. But then after having this trust and signing their papers, we get to see what sort dishonest and unprofessional elements are there. Moving from Hyderabad to Gurgaon was a good experience but it was totally spoilt by the unprofessional and poor handling of customers’ needs by Agarwal Packers. I humbly request those of you planning to move your cities to avoid using Agarwal packers at all cost.
