Never make the mistake of choosing this company

My name is T. Haldar. On 18 April 2017, I had booked a car to be sent to my son in Pune from New Delhi. My GC number was 4542170. A driver was sent to my house to pick up the car on 18th. I was made to pay the full amount upfront. I had insisted that I will pay by cheque only. They initially tried to force me for cash payment but I flatly refused. The driver took the car and gave me the following two documents:


(a) The GC and


(b) The car inventory which basically roughly describes the condition of the car with scratches and dents if any and also mentions other loose items like stepney, toolkit, antenna etc.


The date of delivery mentioned on the GC was 23rd or 24th of April.


The car was finally delivered to my son on 01 May 2017(seven days after the scheduled date of delivery).


The documents were filled by the driver named Mukesh on behalf of the loading supervisor Satish. I was assured that I can call Satish at any time and track my car.


My ordeal started only after this. I rang up Satish on 23rd April and asked him for the receipt for the money paid. The receipt was very important for us to get the reimbursement of the transportation cost from my son’s company. Satish said that I will get it on 24th. I was happy. When I did not get anything till 25th April, I wanted to remind Satish about the money receipt. Satish picked up the phone and shouted on me saying that I should not disturb him for such petty things and disconnected the line. After that all my efforts to call him went futile because he had blocked my number on his phone. I kept sending him messages on whatsapp pleading him for the receipt and explaining to him how important the receipt is for us. He was reading all my messages but would not reply to even one of them.


The company hosts the numbers of "Customer Care" on its website. When I contacted them they said that I have paid money to Satish and only Satish can help me in this matter. Nobody else can do anything about it.


The company does not display the names and contact information of any senior person on its website. At last from an indirect source, I could get the number of one Mr. Reddy in their Head Office who is supposed to be the Chief of Operations. He gave me the number of one Ms. Asha of Delhi office and said that I should speak to her and she will solve my problem. After a large number of efforts when I could ultimately contact Ms. Asha, she passed on the line to some other gentleman who also told me the same thing which the "Help line" had told me. That is nobody in the company other than Satish can help in this matter. Now Satish had blocked my number. So, I felt that it is now a lost case and unfortunately I have been trapped by having selected a wrong transporter.


I again requested my indirect source to help me in this matter. I was now given the number of one Mr. Sunil who is the AGM of the company. Mr. Sunil spoke to me nicely and asked me to whatsapp the photos of the documents. I did that.


I was surprised with his response. Within a few hours I got a whatsapp reply from Mr. Sunil attaching a photo of the money receipt and with a promise that the original will be delivered at my residence the next day.


Believe me, he kept his promise and the driver came to my house and delivered the receipt.


In brief I will say that from my above experience you will understand that the company has recruited worthless and extremely non-coopeative, rude lower staff. But you as a client will have to deal with these lower staff only like Satish and Ms. Asha.


In spite of the image of the company I am carrying is very very bad, I will still like to appreciate the cooperation, efforts and the promptness of Mr. Sunil. It is only because of this one gentleman that I am now in the possession of the money receipt which is my legal right.
