Agarwal Movers and Packers DRS group - Horrible

I have taken services from Agarwal packers and movers (DRS group) https://agarwalpackers.in. I have received goods in very bad and unusable condition and they have given lot of mental trauma in delivering things.


Below is detail of my problem


Below are two sections mentioning Mental & Monetary harassment.


Mentally harassment:




  1. I have asked to deliver things on 25th may (Saturday) (As it was weekend & a religious best day for house shifting) , and from 20th May I keep on following whole week. On Saturday when I called it was said that it will be delivered around 11:30 and then thereafter every time I made a call that what is the progress they said " Sir 12:30 baje" then "2:30 baje" and then "5:00 baje".




Number with which I was communicating 9328844321 (Ahmedabad), 9341221728 (Bangalore). Finally they said around 3 PM that they will not deliver things on 25th may.




  1. I then asked to deliver things on Monday 27 May at 9 AM, as it was working day, me and my spouse required to take a off. I confirmed many times and was assured to get deliery at 9 AM. When I called to confirm the status at 7AM it was said that my stuff will be delivered at 11:30 AM instead of 9 AM.




Again like Saturday, delivery time was kept on changing from 11:30 baje to 12:30 to 2:00 and finally it reached at 4 PM.




  1. Finally things reached at my doorstep at 4 PM, I saw a single Tampoo in which half of the my total things we lying and put in a stack manner (Thoos thoos kar) irrespective of I have mentioned on box that things are fragile it includes electronic items as well.




When I asked why half things are delivered, it was said by driver that he will empty the tampoo and in second round he will get rest stuff. As far as I know the go-down is 35 KM far from the delivery location, and after 4-5 PM there is huge traffic in the road.


I asked driver & 9328744321 (Mr. Manbir) to send things in another vehicle so that I have sufficient time to adjust my things. It was said to me that there in only 1 Tampoo in your Ahmedabad office.




  1. After quick look at the stuff lying near lift lobby. I saw Washing machine & TV box was completely damaged by mouse. Many other cartons (minimum 10 in number) were also extensively damaged by mouse. Then driver told me that give me cheque and then only he will bring things in second round.




I told him that I will pay once I see the condition of stuff.


I talked with Mr Manbir and conveyed the same




  • aksed him to deliver the second round, so that it does not take whole night




  • asked him to deliver, so that I can see the damage before paying more than 29000 INR.






After requesting him a lot, he remain machine-thinker and does not delivered things.


After sometime, he along with 2 other person reach at site (Purpose of that looks like to force me to give cheque), and tried to foce me to give cheque in tactful manner.




  1. He left with cheque and big commitments around 6:15 PM, and the other round of stuff was yet to delivered. I requested him to leave one of their executive so that he can immediate look at the damage in the stuff of 2nd round but he left with his guys.




  2. Again after continuous follow up for 2nd round of delivery, it got delivered at 8:30 PM, and it got completed at 11 PM. There were 2 box missing in the delivery which I anticipated and damages in this delivery as well.




  3. At the time of giving things at Bangalore Mr. Prince rest assured that there warehouses is best in call and there will be no damages by mouse/water etc. He told to take insurance of 50000 and said it is enough, and convinced that since it is reputed company nothing will happen. And if anything happen it will be immediately settled. Trusting his words on behalf of Agarwal (DRS) I said I will take insurance of 1Lakh even though my household things are of more than 2.5 Lakhs and while giving things given arbitrary amount (trusting the sales and person who came to pick things). They never guided me proper and shown false picture of DRS.






I am not a technical guy who understand the catches written by you, I am a normal customer who trust brand and ready to pay higher then competitors for best in class service.


I am trapped first Sales, then person who picked things, then delivery and do not know how many other departments in future to settle damages.


The things which got damaged washing machine which have MRP 16000, TV MRP 13000. Missing boxes (Few things in that are precious). Cloths including my wedding suit which got damaged, bike uncovered (so definitely used), utensils missing etc etc.


I have been forced to give cheque for 29335=00 before delivery, and it was said that AGARWAL PACKERS AND MOVERS’ s executive will give proper support.


But I have not seen any follow up or any assistance from them so I have stopped the payment of cheque and asked them to resolve the issue and then I will pay for cheque.


I am trying to reach at all level of DRS group from Local office to VP & director but till now I have not received any solution for that.


I have searched on internet, many of customers got similar treatment from DRS group like me.


Kindly help and bring clear picture of Movers and Packers lobby in front on public.
