Agneepath Review-A raw pulsating movie, vibrating with simmering anger, desire for vengeance and an underplayed explosive act by Hrithik. The film is a revisit to the original Agneepath and the story is loyal to the old one. The treatment is very contemporary, stylish and colorful.
The performances are extremely good. Rishi Kapoor as rauf lala and sanjay dutt as kancha cheena leave a dramatic impact. The first 1 hr and last 1 hr are quite like a theater scene and more engrossing than the slow middle.
Music is sadly mediocre. Direction and the speedy pace keep the action going.
A definite one time watch.
Action is gory/bloody so don’t be faint hearted. There is strong emotional undertone to the entire movie making it a balanced package.
