Worst service by agoda

I had booked for a 4star hotel in Goa for 3 nights through my credit card. And the booking was dome 5 to 6 months before so that I can get reasonable price.


Agaoda tried to auto debit the amount before 6 days of my travel but as the card was not enabled with international transactions ot was not successful. First thing why agoda charges in dollars is what i dint understand. Customer service were not aware why my transaction was getting declined. I tried with other debit cards even then it was the same.


Then I enabled international transactions and even after that it was the same. I had to wait for customer care to respond for hours to chrck the issue.


And guess what my booking was cancelled with out my notification. They dint give other payment options. And straight away cancelled the booking which I had booked 6 months before. Now if I try to book a hotel i wouod get a triple the prices that i had booked.


They promised me that they would speak with the hotel and get back but they dint do it.


Also the customer service agents are pathetic with thier English, lools like some Chinese is speaking in English.


They don’t have a customer care number, I GOOGLED and got it some number. Not sure if they are really agodas customer support team.
