Historical places have special attraction for man kind, for they teach us while they amuse us. They put be fore us a past glory and an artistic sense.
In India there are several cities, famous for historical buildings. Agra is at the top. It is famous for the "TAJ MAHAL" .. I am very fond of visiting historical buildings.
We reached the TAJ MAHAL by city bus. There we purchased tickets and enteral through the main gate. On entering we found two lawns the TAJ MAHAL is one of the wonders of the world . It stands on the right bank of river JAMUNA. It was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his be loved wife , "Mumtaz Mahal". The entire building is built of white Marble.
The Taj stands on a raised platform. On its four sides there are four loffy minarets .
It has be come famous because it is a great work of art. It is famous for its beauty and it looks very charming in the moonlight . It will re main a joy for ever. It is dream in marble. So people come from all over the world to see this beautiful and wonderful building. India is proud of it.
After spending five hours there . We returned by a bus. I was not satisfied with the short visit. I wished to see it again . Visit to historical buildings are very usefull . When ever we get a chance , we must visit them . We are proud of our historical buildings specially the TAJ MAHAL>
