Delhi to Agra - Best to reach bus station or railway station is pre-paid taxi, Nizamuddin railway station is 17 appox. from domestic airport. collect some infomation from Dehli tourism corp. (DTC)desk present near baggage collection point.
There are one day bus service from delhi to agra operated by DTC, and several packages like agra-jaipur or agra-bharatpur-jaipur...choose one according to your need. We took train from delhi to agra..it approx. 3.5 hours journey, there are several train available round the clock.
Agra - Ordinary city, Agra Cantt station is having pre paid auto and taxi to reach anywhere in the city. Tajmahal is 9 km away. We booked hotel Siddhartha near Taj western gate, hotel is budget hotel, good, vfm, safe as in front of hotel armed security personals were there assigned to Taj western gate security, good view of Taj from hotel terrace.Got up early in the morning, Taj open at 6 AM. Then we saw one of the seven wonders of the world, which realy deserves to be...I haven’t seen any other structure like Taj thoroughout UK and Europe.
Agra - Fatehpur - Connectivity is bad. No public transport. Booked cab to reach there. Cabs will be parked outside since only CNG vehicles allowed near monument. CNG buses are available near taxi stand which takes 10 Rs. Got to see Khawaja chhishti’s gargah middle of fort and buland darwaja main door of fort this 175 ft. structure is very difficult to shoot.
Agra - Delhi - Hired cab to visit delhi. Cabs are usually available at taxi stand so find out one and dont forget to get on local address, without which its hard to hire a cab. Do visit Akshardham temple over then apart from usual attractions India gate, red fort, Raj ghat, Palika Bazar, Kutubminar, Lotus temple. Lotus temple, palika bazar remains closed on sunday. Have your BF or lunch at chandani chowk, parathe wali gali...will get to see even 100 year old hotel selling only parathas. Plan a long trip to cover Uttaranchal and Jaipur if travelling far from Delhi.
