I joined agru’s way back in 2007.I must agree it was a turning point in my career. The Profs in Agru’s r the best in the city .The study pattern is so good that u get to the minute details of the subject and explore where PHYSICS, MATH, CHEM can take you.
The weekly tests are not just to test ur knowledge of the topic but also a test as to how rationally u can think. They r definitely better than Kalrashukla’s or the Sp, Sinhal classes.
Their study pattern prepares u not only for the theory based HSC but also for the concept based CET.
The profs are some of the best u can get in mumbai. I think it is a must for anyone who is aiming high at the HSC and Cet exams.
The best of the classes I have ever seen! Agrawal classes are too good and they provide the suitable(happy) environment for studying, AS SAID BY SOME PROFESSORS, " the class is A.C as it increases the absorbtion ’. the eminent, devoted, friendly, understanding.(.ohh the adjectives like these will be in shortage to describe them.). The class starts off at 7.00 and the wonderful journey begins.as the days passes by, we came to know the professors and why they act strictly sometimes, is just to make good for us.
There is no spoon feeding in here. The professors try as much as they can to make the students interested in the work assigned to them. The weekly tests sometimes are a terror but after all they are also meant for the betterment of the students.
Yes the bad thing is that the test papers( heard so) are checked by other people and not the professors themselves.
People say that the papers are difficult but I don’t think so, students might no have been well prepared for these tests and hence they find it difficult to cope with the test(The same applies to me, but I don’t feel they papers are tough I feel I am not prepared)
And the days pass by the most worrying thoughts strikes me "WHY DO THE CLASSES HAVE TO END SOMEDAY" can’t they just go on.leaving those classes and the guidance of wonderful professors is going to be difficult.
But as it is said "whatever happens happens for the best and life has to go on.
Agrus have always been associated with quality and now I can understand why. They have the best administration and above all the best faculty. The best thing about Agrus is their faculty. They have the best faculty in the whole of Mumbai. Babu for maths, George Varghese for Physics, Awatramani for chemistry are legends in their own right in the teaching field in Mumbai. You get their complete expert guidance under one roof. Another superb thing is the administration of Agrus. The peons may not be exactly your friendly neighbourhood uncle but more importantly they are very good in the job they do.At the start of the course Prof. GD Agrawal had said that our syllabus would be 90% completed on some date(I forgot actually) in August and he was true to his word. In fact last year there were many unforseen holidays due to the floods as well so really a brave prediction like that and fulfilling it completely deserves our appreciation. Now the cons:The tests they take in Agrawal are awful to say the least. They are so difficult even brilliant students get stumped by some questions. Also the notes though good are not complete as such and require the help of textbooks. This has to be rectified. If you have the marks to get into Agrus and the will to study hard and the readiness to be part of the best my recommendation is to join Agrus right now.
