The Film Agyaat by Ram Gopal Verma deserves to be in the history books as being one of the most absurd film to be ever made.
Agyaat- the unknown opens with a dumb Priyanka Kothari wearing a half bikini and dancing in the sea. WTF.Then lo, the camera breaks and takes us to a wondeful location( the only thing good about the movie) somwhere in the jungles of Sigiriya where the film shooting crew manages to damage their camera and the take us into an hour or so of absurd killings made worse by the dumb actor’s with deadpan looks(what they call expressions).I don’t know how only the hero and heroine manage to escape the Agyaat.As we are scraching our head(literally some in disgust of spending so much and some still trying to understand who the hell in this world gave Ramu this idea).the film closes with a note Agyaat2- COMING SOON as if we are crazy enough to sit through another 2 hrs of torture.Why don’t we advice our cops to show the terrorist such films as a third degree torture.
Ramu, I guess has gone crazy or he has so much money that he can afford to invest in a group of jokers who call themselves actors trying too hard. One mention though we have to congratulate Ramu for making a film which does not even be deserved to be rated. He should be shown this film, which makes us think was thsi the directir who gave us Satya!.
Not to forget, even after reading this review if somepeople manage to dare and sit through this torture, please dont forget to watch the scene in which Priyanka Kothari manages to wear and skimpy miniskirt and do yoga somewhere in middle of the jungle and the camera zoomed to show only her navels.
