ARR continues to set trends in tamil music world but not as catchy as one of his best(one of the best) Boys.
The songs in this movie are more on a serious tone.Very few peppy numbers.
Tazhuvudhu is a very good attemp by Shreya Ghosal.Her thin voice just flows in melody(really sorry I dunno how to put this in words).. SPB again works magic with his deep voice.
Mayiliragai is good hinsutani beat based song...meloodious.After hearing Maramkottiye u would prefer Vasundara Das’s voice in place of Madhushree’s in this song(its kind of a copy of this song).
Maramkottiye is visualised very well by S.J.Suryah.Though the song sounds like a complete peppy number ......... the vedio completely removes this notion ... completely based on retro songs.
As usual ARR does wonders wih his unassuming voice.
Varugirai again is in kind of a seious note.Vedio by S.J.Suryah is kind of overdone(this is solely my view).
On the whole its one of those intermediate ARR scores.
