Air Asia says Everyone can fly ; and I say absolutely true...... when airfare has become so cheap , Every 1 should fly.Like most of us I fell prey to the catchy Airfare that Airasia published in the media and even when there was no plan and no need ; booked the tkt for 2 to KL from Mum. Booking online was smooth as it requires no interaction with anybody There no direct helpline for Airasia to confirm the status of the flight which can painful for the first timers.
At the airport check in was swift as the flight was not full. That gave us option to choose the seat as we had our 2yr old kiddo with us. Food served was tasty and hot ; full marks for that. Service in the flight was very good and contrary to some of the other reviews , ppl seemed very helpful.Had purchased the comfort kit so sleeping was comfortable.Flight attendants were very helpful and making sure my kid was engaged . Most of them used to come and talk / play with him (this I observed on all flights of AirAsia)Flight reached KL on time so marks for punctuality.
Baggage took 15 minutes. which is ok . Make sure excess baggage is baught. as they dont allow u to carry luggage as other airlines do.The only issue is they make u get down somewhere in between , which takes 10 minutes to reach back to LCCT. This is painful if u r old or with infant and have no help.LCCT airport is ok with basic amenities but u’l be disappointed if you have seen the KLIA (main airport).Had AirAsia shuttles outside to take u to KL city for RM 9/-.overall good experience . Also travelled to Langkawi , Singapore with Airasia was satisfied with services.

Things to remember :
Buy tkt online as over the counter will cost u 2 times. Buy atleast 24 hrs before travel time. (i bought once from Singapore airport which costed 3 times web fare)
Buy food / Excess luggage / comfort kit while booking tkt , doing so at airport wil cost twice.
To avoid hassels of weighing and form filling ; reach airport 2-3 hrs before.
Booze is not served in flight. u have to buy it :(
