Jakarta to Ho Chi Minh City via Kuala Lumpur. We’ve been on Air Asia and its subsidiaries a few times, mostly enjoyable, no nonsense and good value for money, so was this flight. One unpleasant experience on this particular flights; we were separated between KUL-SGN due to full flight - apparently and was advised to see ground staff at transfer desk KLIA2, where there was no help. We went to the boarding gate and they gave us 31B/31 C at the back of the plane. Once onboard, it wasn’t a full flight, there are plenty of seats available. AirAsia system obviously cannot see that it was a single booking for two pax, hence they do not allocate seats for two.
