Air Deccan has made everyone fly in airlines. Its rates are v cheap and affordable for the common man!!! So its recent ad cuts across the lower middle class segment who could never ever think of flying by airlines.


Air Deccan –India’s first low-cost airline has come up with their new ad commercial that touches the hearts of millions of Indians!!! As their main motto is to enable that THE COMMON MAN CAN FLY, the 150sec long T.V. ad conveys the message straight away.


The ad made by Orchard Advertising has the story about The Old Man as the main Protagonist and his relationship with his son. This ad unfolds the the First ever Flight boarded by the common Indian and reflects the emotions of millions others who dream to fly!!!


This ad is shot like a typical Bollywood flick!


The latest ad shows:


1. An old man-carpenter receives air ticket of Air Deccan from his son . His villagers are equally surprised like him.


2. Flashback goes that his little son always wanted to play with a toy plane. So his father being carpenter makes it for him.The boy being happy shows it to all of them in the village.


3. Now the villagers are v happy that this little boy has grown up to a young man and sent his father air ticket.


4. The old man is very well attended by the staff.


5. IN the scanning machine , the official smiles to see that the old man is carrying the toy plane in the bag.


Its really touching and wonderful ad which sends the message that ’’For millions of Indians flying is no longer a dream!!!’’


The old man played by National Award Winner Malayalam Actor Murali has performed brilliantly. The emotions he displays are remarkable and straightaway touches our hearts.


The cinematography is par excellence   depicting the rural village near Pollachi in a picturesque manner.


Instead of conventional 50sec ad, Air Deccan has decided to pump in lot of money to produce this long ad to make their message very EFFECTIVE !!! Certainly they did not use any cost cutting measures for this ad !!!!!
