I had to travel to cochin in an emergency on 29th may 2008....i tried to search for ticket online and saw al-ain to Calicut seat was available on Indian express.... the airindia express fly from al-ain to cochin first and then from cochin to calicut....
I went to the travel agency to book the ticket. I said to the travel agency that I want to go to cochin. but they said no seat available for cochin ..but u can get the same flight for calicut...u can go to the airport duty officer and request to be offloaded in cochin...i went to al-ain and requested, that I am going in emergency. I have taken ticket to calicut...can u please offload me in cochin.... the duty officer present on 29th may 2008 was not only rude in saying no...but also saying. that as to why u people come to us asking for request.... I said I don’t need any refund of money...(or I am ready to pay extra) all I need is to get down in cochin as cochin is jus 1 hr travel to my place...he didn’t give a ear to my plea.....
And when I boarded the aircraft...i saw 20 to 30 seat empty from al-ain to kochi sector....
My question is:
the airindia express first fly to cochin...stay there for 45 min and then fly to calicut....forget abt money ....y cant they change my destination ?
if they offload me in cohin...dont they get an extra seat from cochin to calicut...isnt it ?
