I had the misfortune...yeah people thats the word I will use..... of travelling by alliance air from mumbai - Vizag via Hyderabad. Man! was that a thrill. yeah I mean by the way the plane looked like and the condition of the interiors and the food...all made a very thrilling ride to the beautiful place. come on people u still do not get the drift. it was a harrowing experience. an exoperience which will stop me from travelling again by alliance air! the plane left mumbai on time, but after reaching hyderan\bad it stayed there for close to 2 hrs!!!!! can u imagine our condition. the AC’s too werer at their pathetic best! we were left sweating and fuming. the reason given was that passengers who have checked in for the trip to vizag have still not boarded in!! I mean is this some stste transport bus or for that matter a passenger train in bihar that we r talking about. any way we reached vizag2 hrs late. & yeah I forgot to add. we moved to the runway at hyderabad in 1&1/2 hrs but again the pilot took the plane to the terminal as we had to offload the luggage of a passenger who ran down the tarmac towards the plane in the hope that the authorities will still take him in. I though he was someone with good contacts otherwise how can the security allow some one to run on the tarmac!!! anyway my return trip 3 days afterwards was agin delayed as the plane had not reached vizag. we were 3 & 1/2 hrs late & the reason given was FOG. well I tell u I travelled the onward journey and I can bet there was no fog in mubai/ hyderabad. that was a pretty lame excuse I think! & u know what menu was served............................................................................. IDLI SAMBHAR!!!!!!!!! my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all this for shelling out 23000 rs for the return tickets. man! I was cheated & I want justice!!! I wrote to the indian officials. they have changed the name but I hope the email id is still valid. hehe! I wrote to times of india, but they have been getting so many complaints tha bthe ythought they would be better off not advertising my misfortune . I think everyone is supporting the new tourist cause of, ’’ Athithi Devo Bhava’’. only if jet decides to start its services, things will come on track I think & may be kingfisher! hehe! after all Vizag is such a wonderful place. it deserves a better treatment from the tarvel industry. hordes of foreigners come here and the plavce is also developing economically with many software frims setting shop here! we want more!!
