True that the air hostesses on board are elders. Do you kick out your spouse after a couple of years because she has grown older!!!!! The services rendered on board by these grown up ladies in the mid-air are as good as services rendered by the young air hostesses of private airlines. Armed with their experience I have seen them taking very good care of the old and in firm. Recently on a flight from Delhi to Chennai (11th January, IC 540) I saw two of them playing the role of nurses to a patient being brought to Chennai on a stretcher. Have you ever seen a private air lines bringing a patient with their hostesses as the nurse. I doubt if you will ever find one!! Have a heart, and trust these elderly ladies. After all age and service are not in contradiction. Look at the foreign airliners. Dont they have senior ladies as hostess’. Dont you travel by these air liners on your trips abroad? So why blame only Indian Airlines. Believe in the saying that old is gold.
