0 stars all the way:-( This is specifically from traveling from Delhi to Chicago. I was warned by my friends to avoid this- but I still decided since it was a DIRECT flight.
At Delhi airport, I was told I can’t sit with my 2 year old, so we will be sitting separately. This is in spite of the fact I had confirmed seat numbers together. Argued 20 mins and finally got pretty crap seats towards the end.
Flight started at 11am, scheduled time was 2 am. Cause of 12 hour delay was "technical difficulty", "lost luggage", "bomb threat". Announcements were not made, we were made to find out from fellow passengers.
3. Every 2 hours, someone random would announce about the delay. Sitting in 90’C with mosquitoes, no water, s&**( bathrooms was beyond ridiculous. No food, just water at room temperature, mad passengers- it was a stampede waiting to happen!
Best part is- we were told to go on the runway to IDENTIFY luggage again, if we wanted to make sure the luggage came to Chicago.
No "child- friendly" meal on aircraft, but that doesn’t seem a problem at all- considering what happens before you get to board,
