Needs to improve

Somedays back I read an article in the newspaper about things that irritate the crew of the airlines like passengers not closing the bathroom door etc. Well, atleast the crew of Indian Airlines should not complain. Their staff is highly demotivated.


They treat the passengers as though they are doing a favor. For the kind of profession that they are in, they should appear warm and hospitable. Instead you get that stern Class Teacher kind of a look on their face which appears so much out of the place and absolutely unnecessary. I mean I agree they may be getting a few nasty people, but to put off those few nasty people, they cannot treat everybody badly. Which profession today does not deal with a few nasty and aggressive people?


For the kind of exposure that they get, they should learn how to diplomatically handle those people. Instead they choose to behave with an air of arrogance with everybody. What are they so scared of? Not a smile on anybody’s face. Such a boring dull and depressing airline. Recently I had to travel by this airline as none were otherwise suiting me timewise. Otherwise the other airlines are much better anyday. There is an atmosphere of pleasantness, their food choice is also far better than what Indian airline offers. No wonder the airline is running in losses. It doesn’t bother about competition; and is living in a state of false pride.
