I am surprised to see the refund amount of just 3305, ( I was not begging I demanded refund) for the cancellation of one-way trip to Delhi from Chennai . my whole round trip ticket was some 23038 / so effectively it should be roughly 12500 one side and Airindia refunded only 3305 out of 12000, so effectively my return ticket for my family of two cost me more than 10, 000 per seat.
which is costlier than any given flight for ticket booked well in advance.

this doesn’t go well with us . more over I do remember a screen of definitely more than 8000 when I was trying to cancel the ticket online; which could not be completed.
when I called to the customer care, I was never told about the refund amount.
please explain the rationale behind this refund. just like you guys give the breakup of my booking show me the refund split
