From a non flyers point of view (Yes! i’ve never flown) but I spend a lot of time on the ground at airport terminal and ATC towers as I know a few there and some Flight and Cabin crew (Sigh! oldies ) of IC.
Indian airlines have miles to go! but shouldn’t we consider their pluses too? One of the biggest and most connected domestic network. You must be aware of the fact that the IA Central Training establishment is being used by many a operators for training their pilots despatchers etc.. The history of IA. The importance they give to women (Capt. S.Deshmukh heard of??)..
As far as the inflight services are concerned well... Food is good.. Aircrafts are well maintained (technically atleast)..Good Quantity of food the minuses may be Lack of entertainment (Which other airline in Ind has it?) Aging & Unfriendly FAs ... Its a problem for those freaky guys.
Girls! is that the major problem?! Comapring Qantas which mostly flies with Male FAs !! or World Fav’ Airline British airways with Granmas in Cabins I would give IA a Go!
