Whenever I travel from Abu-Dhabi or Dubai to India nowadays I prefer to travel by Air-India. In spite of its shortcomings, it has improved a lot compared to other Airlines operating in this sector. The ’in-flight’ staff is friendlier , more courteous, you get free drinks, not one can or one sample bottle like in Gul- Air, but 3 to 4 cans are given at a time. They immediately attend to my child and provide her with something to keep her occupied, food has improved a lot and is tasty! Our fellow passengers are to be blamed to some extent, many times I have seen them getting fully drunk and they keep harassing the Air- hostesses for more drinks, pick up an arguement with them, vomit in the toilet and not flush, stealing all the cosmetic items from the toilets as soon as the flight lifts off, etc.......The ground staff also are very helpful and courteous . By the way we travel only by Economy class.
