When India is all set to embark the mainstream of the world, our airlines (Indian Airlines) is far behind.

All of its planes are old and cheaper ones. It do not provide any luxury which one expect from a plane journey. Agreed. It provide facilities like seats, seat belts, 1 set of meal and few drinks. But if you compare it with other international airlines, you can easily identify it as second class.
Cabin Crew is ok, but most of them looks at it as a profession and not as a service. Your attitude will reflect in your actions and the result is, they cannot serve you better.
If you think the prices will be less, considering the sub-standard material provided, you are wrong. The airline charge same as that of any other airlines.
Then how come it got business? Only because it reserve many important routes, especially from gulf and which compensate them for all the mess they make themselves.
Check in counters is ok, where most of the places it will be handled by the.
Flight attendance is ok, but the crew should be little more pleasant.
Seating space is poor. The planes are built most economically.
Punctuality on and off. Some times yes, sometimes no.
All together, Indian Airlines can better remain as a domestic airline.
If they want we people to proud of them, they should improve their standard. They have to invest more. They have to purchase long routes.
When 4 planes parked in a row, our plane should be the best one. We should not be less by anybody.
