I had to go to Bombay.
My program was decided about 20 days back so I got my ticket through sahara and my father decided to bid his ticket of Indian airlines through indiatimes.com delhi to Bombay sector.
His auctioned tickets were confirmed and his credit card was debited at that very moment.
Two days later he received his PNR no. and I took the print out (hard copy ) of it and when I went to the lucknow amausi airport to get my fathers ticket at 16:35 since I needed to get his tickets and also had my flight for lucknow to bombay at 18:30.
I went to the counter of the Indian airlines and showed them the hard copy and claimed my ticket.
Firstly they said that the ticket would be available just 4 hours prior to departure where in the hard copy it was written that the ticket must be collected before 4 hours to departure.
After much of argument they stood up with other issue. They asked me for the money.
When I asked them why I need to pay although I have paid through the net?
They said that the credit card number is not printed on the hard copy so they cant issue the ticket and also the payment is not made.
When I asked them to give me such excuse in writing they moved back and after 1hour 15 minutes of heated argument and explanation they gave me the ticket of my fathers flight.
The behavior of the staff there was unfriendly and rude.
I also wrote a letter to the Indian airlines regarding this but no reply has been given yet.
I deeply regret to inform that Indian airlines services have fallen tremendously…..
They need to take measure.
I would recommend u all to beware and not fly through Indian airlines as they don’t care for others time and wasted my 75 minutes at the airport.
