Reading the reviews, I realise that part of the problem with Air India are the people who fly with it. Reviews in the International portion are filled with complaints from people who have flown the domestic sector.
Toilets! Why cant we use them so that others can do so after us?We do not appreciate how a system functions and raise ours voices the moment we feel that we are not getting our entitlements. It does not allow staff to go about their jobs and kills any chance of professional service.
As for the higher management, they understand systems even less. They thrive on bullshit. Some of the staff, both at check in and on the plane are amazing but their qualities go unrecognized because of poor planning at higher levels.
Ever since the govt took over, this airline has survived on the backs of those few amazing people who for some strange reason think they owe a certain responsibility to the airline and its passengers.
Would I fly it again if I had a choice? Probably not.
