A lot has already been said and written about the inflight and on-ground treatment. But can you beat this?... <br>

I had to pick a friend up from the air-port. He was arriving from US by AI. The filght was scheduled to arrive at 2.05 am. I called the inquiry number to inquire if the flight was on schedule..the lady on the line told me ..I quote ’’It is on schedule..2.35am.’’ I was confused so I asked ’’but the scheduled time is supposed to be 2.05 am. isnt it?’’..Pat came the reply..’’yes..30 minutes.....is on schedule...isnt it?’’
If the staff of AI themselves consider 20 or 30 minutes as no delay at all, I wonder why they piblish EXACT time-of-arrival or EXACT time-of-departure...Why dont they say ’’approximate’’ time-of-arrival/departure’’ For example :-
’’TIME OF ARRIVAL (OR DEP. AS THE CASE MAY BE) = ARROUND 2.00AM’’
