I had travelled latest by Indian Airlines about an year back from Pune to Delhi. It turned out to be much more pathetic experience than I had heard off. The attendants are least bothered about the passengers and their convenience. The staff specially air hostesses looked exhausted and all seemed to be aunties raising 10 kids.
Food when compared with other airlines like Jet Airways, Sahara Airlines and Kingfisher Airlines, it stood horrible. The food quality provided in executive class of Indian Airlines is same when compared to economy class of other airlines.
There are no value added services in this flight. Sahara has in cabin personal music, Kingfisher with Personal video screens.
The only good thing about IA is that these flights take all experienced pilots very unlike other private airlines. the take-off and landing are extremely smooth.
Overall its a very average flight wherein one does not get the travel pleasure at all. I think only Govt. officials travel majorly by this flight.
