Read a lot about "Indian" sucking big time.
On my journey to Mumbai (on the way to US) from Nagpur I was booked on Jet and my cousin booked on Indian Airlines... the Indian Airlines ticket costed half! ... his flight took off 10 minutes after mine and he reached Mumbai 10 minutes before me... howz dat???
Indian serves more destinations (non profitable too) than any other airline (mibbe now Air Deccan is) ... none of the pvt. airlines operate on non-profit routes... know why? coz not only the business aspect... but the ’service’ aspect too drives (flies should I say) "Indian".
I had absoultely fine experiences on Indian Airlines... the aircraft though older than other airlines was well maintained... (anyways the new airlines are NEW... so have newer aircrafts)... the airhostesses were most young (i would rather concentrate on they being presentable)... do we have less opportunity on ground to oogle at gals???
Indian staff is more considerate in situations which require compassion... they wont show you the RULE BOOK at every instance... which is a definite plus.
