I have flown a couple of times in Air India. The only good thing about Air India is the fact that they provide food. Although the food is not that great. Everything else in Air India is simply pathetic. The attitude of ground staff is rude and they hardly empathise their customers. The flight crew is not very helpful either. The entertainment system is not that entertaining and can turn out to be annoying.
My worst experience with Air India was when I once flew from Kolkata to Bangalore. After the passengers boarded the flight, we were informed that the flight would be delayed. The flight was delayed for more than an hour. To make things worse the air conditioning system in the flight was not working. It was one horrible journey.
I would recommend Air India only if you have run out of other options.
