I can’t say much about Air India’s services, not having traveled in one. But one must congratulate them on the ad, which sure makes for interesting watch.
A middle-aged man, totally lost when it comes to flying, flounders with the seat belt and doesn’t know how to lower the table. The little girl next to him obliges by helping out, albeit a bit irritated.
Both the guy and the girl do a good job of their roles.
And just as you wonder what’s up, the punch line ’’Captain, your next flight is on time’’ makes you laugh thinking of the little girl’s irritation with this ’’captain’s’’ ’’duhness’’. And then when asked, ’’anything else?’’ our man gallantly says, ’’A blanket.’’ We can see the girl fast asleep in the background.
Very well conceived and crafted ad. It is fun to watch even when you know what’s coming. The background score is also well-done.
