NO I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE OF AIRLIFT & THIS REVIEW IS TRULY BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH AIRLIFT
I was going to my native, Bhilai, after 2 years. I got only 5 days off so I clubbed it with Saturday, & Sunday & May day & decided to go by Flight. My Flight was on 1st May & return flight was on 10th May. Since, on 1st May, my flight is early morning (At 6:30), I wanted to be at airport by 5 in the morning. I did not want my sister & Jiju to wake up early in the morning & drop me to airport as Airport is around 35 to 40 Kms from my home & also My sisters in-laws was about to come on 30th April to meet her. So I decided to book Airlift to reach Airport. Following is my experience with them right from Booking till the drop:
- Booking: I knew that I have to book through their website, so I just opened their website on 28th April & try booking 1 seat in Airlift cab. At that point of time, I was not aware that I can book the round trip, as I was returning back to Bangalore within 30 Days. I was looking for the nearest point, but couldnt find any. So I called Airlifts Customer care. They were very helpful. When I told them that I couldnt find the nearest point, & the so called nearest point which is mentioned in their site is about 3 to 4 Kilometres from my residence, they took my Address & promised me to give me a call the same day by evening. They kept their promise, & I received the call on 28th itself @ 7 PM. The executive took some more information about my residence & promised me that by 29th theyll give me a cal & let me know the status, if they can add my residential apartment in their pick up list. Again as Promised, on 29th morning I recieved a call from them & they told me that my Apartments would be added in their list of drops by afternoon 1 PM & I can book the Airlift after 1 PM. Hmmmmm I was impressed by their service till that time. On 29th I reached office by 1 PM & forgot to book the cab. On 29th evening, Airlift executive called me & ask if I booked the cab or not. Hmmmm, So they care for the customers also?? Good. I told him that I didnt & going to do it now. Then he asked me my date of return. When I told him that I am coming back on 10th, he advised me to go for round trip, as my booking will be valid for one month from the date of travel to Airport. This was a surprise to me. As the round trip was giving me a cheap deal I went for round trip for Hust Rs. 496. As soon as I did the booking, they sent me an E-Mail about the confirmation.
So Booking expirience was good, no Very good.
- Cab Service: On 30th of April, in the Evening I got the SMS from Airlift about the driver details. Also, on 30th April @ around night 10 PM, driver called me & asked me the directions to reach my pick up point. I was happy with the kind of service. My pick time was morning 3:02. On 1st May, @ morning 2:50, I recieved a call from the driver again & he told me that he reached my pick up point. hmmm Punctual. I boarded the cab @ 3 in the morning. After my pickup, there were 4 more pickups. So he drove to their pick up point & picked them up. At sharp 4:25, I was in Airport. Well in Advance. So I dont have to worry about anything. Similarly, On 9th of May, I recieved the SMS about the contact details of the person I have to contact after I reach Bangalore. On 10th May, when I contacted that guy, he told me that the cab is waiting at the Parking lot & told me the details of the cab. So I just went the boarded the cab. In both the cases, drivers were driving safely & following the traffic rules, more surprisingly, they were also following the Lane discipline. I havent seen any cab driver following the Lane discipline, Airlift drivers were following.
Overall, I had good exprience with Airlift. I surely recommend this to everyone & next, If I am flying Ill book Airlift taxi only.....
