My Name is Shoeb and since past 3 years I have I have been switching between various service providers in Maharashtra, my friends and relatives are fed up bcoz of this, but I don’t mind changing my No. if I am not satisfied.
In this review I will elaborate on all the service providers Their Tariff, Network & Customer Service.My first service provider was Airtel and then I have been through all gsm service providers Hutch which was taken over by Vodafone, Idea, BSNL i.e Excel or celone, Idea, Latest was Reliance and Now on Aircel and surely I will get Tata DOCOMO too but it would be my second No. and Aircel my Permanant One.
I wil first discuss about Life long Plans and then Freinds, Freinds 2 and campus, campus 2 and My Gang.
I WILL DIVIDE IT INTO THREE PARTS
*1) TARIFF
2)NETWORK
3)CUSTOMER SERVICE*

1) TARIFF
The basic Calling Tariff For all the service Providers with Lifetime validity are the same of 1Rs local to same Network / Other Network and 1.50 STD, EXCEPT Aircel and TataDOCOMO
They all provide Ratecutters but these rate cutters do not realy benifit.
For Eg In
*Airtel for Rs 68 (Local A2A 50p/min, other local calls 60p/min)
Idea for Rs 57 (Local I2I 50p/min, other local calls 60p/min)
Vodafone Rs 68(Local V2V 40p/min, other local calls 60p/min)
BSNL IS OUT OF QUESTION AS THEY DEDUCT 5 RS DAILY FOR 49p/min + NO NETWORK COVERAGE :-D
Now if you spend 68Rs every month for this tariff u save around 50p to 40 ps on every call so first you will have to make *138 mins calling to cover up this 68 Rs and then ur benifit will start ie saving 50p or 40ps on every local min.
Where as in**Aircel their base tariff is as First min 1 Rs , Second min 50ps and then third min onwards 30ps...
*Now my average calling is as suppose I make 5 calls every day
first call for 20 mins asume to Gf
second call for 12 mins to freind
third call for 2 mins to mom/dad
then fourth and fifth call for 1 min each. to say yes I am commin just one min :-)
that is 1080 mins every month.
so for
Airtel, vodafone you will need to pay 594( considering 55 p/min"Average" Rs for 1080 mins +
68 Rs = 662 Rs/ Month and
Idea 594 +57 = **651Rs/ Month
If you have Relaince Its Currently its giving an offer for Recharge of 21 Rs you get R2R 30p R2O @60p For 90 days. With this you wil benifit if you have daily caling to Reliance more than 50% eg considering with 50% in 1080 mins you make 540 mins caling to Reliance that will cost you 162 Rs @30 ps/min+ to other Mobile 324 @ 60ps/min = 486+ (21/3) = **493 Rs/ Month
BUT IF RELIANCE CHANGES ITS MIN\D FOR ITS CURRENT OFFER THEN ?
Now in Aircel
20 mins= 6.90
12 mins= 4.5
2 mins = 1.50
1 min= 1 Rs
1 min =1Rs
Total= 14.9/day
and multiplied by 30 days =447 Rs/ Month
So basicly in Aircel if you make a call for more than a min You definatily SAVE without and Ratecutter for lifetime. :-)
Regarding TataDOCOMO
It Hasper second Pulse :-) i.e 1ps/sec so 60ps/min
This will Help you a lot if you that bad luck of ending the call at 61st second or 181st second and so on.. Jokes apart This is going to be helpful but if you calculate assuming the above calling

( You can only make a call of One second if you are trying to give a miss call and the Person answers your call and you disconect the very second)
But stil I wil give TataDOCOMO its tariffs benifit and consider the minimum of 1 second
It comes to 19.1 Rs/day
That is 573Rs/month
Sumarry
Aircel = 447 Rs
Reliance = 493 Rs
TataDOCOMO =573Rs
Idea = 651Rs
Airtel = 662 Rs
Vodafone =662 Rs

2) NETWORK
THE BEST NETWORK AS OF TODAY IN PUNE AND IN MAHARASHTRA IS OF VODAFONE
You wil get its network in Basement Parking in you Elevator and possibly where ever you are except Murud- Zanzira and kashit near Alibaug there is no vodafone no idea over there but Airtel’s Network is there, don’t know abt Relaince and Bsnl out there.
Then I would probably putIDEA No 2 You wont get Idea’s Network in Basement of IBM in Yerwada and in its Elevators and few other basments and within Apartments while climbing the stairs or in elevators.
Then
No. 3 Airtel (Airtel’s Network was really bad in pune few months ago at many places my friends cell used to display EMERGENCY ONLY when Indoor. Now that have Installed Small Towers on many Buildings so things have become a little better.
*No.4 Aircel
*Inside my house 3 Lines
near Window 4 Lines..
On my staircase 0 Lines
In my Parking 2 Lines
On Road 4 Lines or 5 Lines. :-(
I understand that Aircel has just started its services In Pune and based on Customer Complaints and feedback they will hopefully get strong in Network.
Because the most Important Thing is NETWORK. we carry mobile to stay connected with our friends and family and Network helps us to stay connected not Tariff. *

No.5 Bsnl
I really have sympathy with Bsnl. If it wants it can lead in every point but I don’t understand why it doesn’t try ??

I wud rate Bsnl in top.
*But rest all guys are the same only if their call is being monitored by their quality team they will try to help you.
