Going by the huge advertisements of Aircel, I had thought that I would go in for it. But the experience has been very bad. none of their promises holds true.
This promise of 1p/sec is hogwash. I took the connection and they are charging me 1/50 for each call and 2/- for each sms.
On top of it, they are also charging me for calls that get responses like "the phone is switched off" There are a lot of cross connections, and even if the responder does not pick the calls, we get charged for it.
And the biggest whammy is that their network is so poor. It shows in my cell (the network bars) that the network is strong, but still I can’t talk or hear a word of the conversation. so many times, callers claim that they called and the phone was ringing while I did not get any calls.I would seriously recommend everyone not to use this service.
