I am using Aircel from over a year now and I can confidently say that its the worst operator in India I feel like it should even exist there 3G is similar to 2G speeds and connectivity is major concern which is pathetic in the area where I reside I never get full strength connecting frequent call drops is obvious to me every day at least 1 call gets dropped due to such a poor connection.
Now moving to the second point which is why I really hate Aircel there DND(Do Not Disturb) system I mean as per govt rules if some manually activated DND in his/her number then all promotional calls and sms must be totally blocked but everyday 7-8 promotional calls is obvious and sms forget about it tons and tons of sms from Aircel and other souces fill up my inbox and I have complained for this several times but no strict action was taken.
The reason for the review starts here a week back Aircel promotional sms popped up in my phone about some useless VAS offers I just simply dialled the toll free number to enquire of the plan and as usual automated system attended the call and gave brief info related to my query(I have not even mistakenly activated any plans) but later that day I got sms saying that my VAS services are activated and they charged a nifty Rs.95 for this I didn’t get the point so I again contacted Aircel team and they said that two VAS plans are activated one for the Cricked live score and the other for Caller tune so they cancelled the plans but again today I have been charged RS.30 again for a VAS offer which I never activated its frustrating but true now I am really planning to change my operator. Aircel is not suitable for any kind of person unless you own a G device and don’t have a option in your hands
