I was waiting for this film from a long time. From the very day I saw the trailer , I was excited to watch this film . I went to see it yesterday because I couldn’t get tickets for previous shows .Such was the situation of the theatres.
People were going crazy and every show was housefull . Well from the very beginning of the film you get a sense of action and thrill .
Every scene seemed very real and thrilling . Akshay kumar’s performance was great .He earned my respect and made me feel proud of the indian who’s role he played , Ranjit katyal . The very thought that everything that’s happening in front of me was a real life incident , gave me goosebumps . Raja krishna menon did an amazing job and portrayed true directorial skills in this film . The action scenes seemed very real and were very thrilling .
Specially the evacuation scene , it was the highlight of the movie for me . All other actors did very good job specially nimrit kaur . She was perfect in her role as ranjit katyal’s wife and her acting was flawless. In all that action and emotion , the sense of patriotism that the plot of the film gives you is amazing .All in all my experience with airlift was awesome .The film gives you a good glimpse of what those indians went through in kuwait back then and makes you salute the hero , Ranjit katyal. It made me feel proud of being an indian and this great nation . I recommend this to everyone and I promise you won’t regret watching this film .
