Akshay was the best thing about this movie. I so loved watching Airlift that I have already booked a ticket for Thursday’s show in PVR. The cast, presentation, music, surrounding drama; basically everything about the movie engages you to the hilt so much so that you can feel the pain and fear people in that condition must have gone through in that life altering experience of 1990 massive evacuation that took my country’s name to the history.
Well, obviously a few essential alterations have been made to the original version to make it cinema friendly but then that is requirement of the World of cinema. The Nimrit and Akki pairing is also refreshing. Three things to watch out for in the movie are-
1) Akki
2) Arijit’s music
3) Indianness
Go, watch it guys! It’s a must watch!
