The film is based on a real life event, which has happened on 1990 at Kuwait. This film is based on the evacuation of Indian refugees in Kuwait. In 1990 Iraqi army invaded into Kuwait and Iraqis started treating everyone inhumanly. Akshay Kumar was a well established businessman on Kuwait but he were born at India. When Iraqis invade then he started leading the Indian refugees in Kuwait and took help from Indian government to evacuate them from Kuwait.
Akshay Kumar has done one of his best job ever, other characters are played by Nimrat Kaur, Purab Kohli, Kumud Mishra and many more. Each characters has played their role very successfully. Which has given a real lift to the movie.
Plot and topic of the movie is already thrilling and performance of the movie crew made it awesome. The real event was 170, 000 Indians were evacuated from Kuwait in 59 days with 488 Air India airliners. This was the biggest evacuation in world history ever. No other country has taken such initiative to evacuate such big numbers of people from foreign soul. This took place in Guinness Book of World Records too. That is why this is one of the biggest achievement of Indian Government ever. But we almost forgot about this event, all credit goes to Airlift crew to remind us about this event.
