Best in recent time

Airlift was the most awaited film of the year 2015. It had been so long fron when I had not seen a genuine good film which is acted and executed well. The opening scene of the film starts the song with a beautiful songs which makes the day set for the rest of the film. Airlift is based on the 1990 evacuation of indian people from kuwait after saddam hussain captured and made lives of everyone very bad.

The film is also very close as it gives us reason to be proud as Indians. It shows how the 1, 70, 000 people were evacuated from there by the help of air india and the government officials.

The role played by akshay kumar and nimrit kaur and the main protaganist whose name I dont remember was very well put up. The film shows how people react to harsh situations and dying situations. The role played of saddam hussain makes us believe that it his he. The film is also very good and it doesnot show akshay kumar in heroic style as other films show its hero as ultimate god who cannot be wounded by bullets and can kill thousands at one time with bare hands. I wouldnot say that all the facts shown in the film airlift is true to every word and action but the screenplay written is very well enacted. The film slides down a little after the second half as it makes things repetitive but still after that it took off for a very emotional climax. The direction was outstanding. The background music at times irritated but overall the songs and music were good. The flim since is universal certified can be watched with the family. The dialogues in the flim could have been a better. The locations are well picturised and looks authentic for kuwait. The flim overall is a well enacted film and is a must watch for every indian.
