First of all movie is good time pass with a great story based on a real event. It’s good to watch movies like this with family.
But I am expecting much more with the movie. Yes if you are akki’s fan then go for it you will enjoy it but for me script and direction is not upto the mark. Akki played very well in movie and all credit goes to only and only akshay kumar. I will give this movie 3 stars out of 5. We were expecting much more dramma and action in the movie specially if anyone has watched movies like Hotel Rawanda or Schindler’s list then you will definietly dislike this movie.
They could put more efforts in movies like airlift with great concept but somehow they missed somewhere in emotion and desi tadka for the movie. I recommend everyone who liked Airlift movie they should at least once watch hollywood movies like Hotel Rawanda and Schindler’s list. After watching Hotel Rawanda you will know how directly copied full concept and scenes from hollywood movie and just converted into antoher incident happened in Kuwait. But movie is a good time pass if you have not watched hollywood movie Hotel Rawanda which is based on another similar incident happened in Rawanda. Akki and namrita kaur played very well and whole credit goes to their effort, songs are also pretty good specially dil cheej tujhe dedi . so movie is good in desi style and 3 stars out of 5 from me.
