Before Reliance jio entered the Telecom world I was a user of Airtel 4G hotspot and having used boat Airtel as well as Reliance jio and I will say that jio is by far the better one jio both in terms of prepaid plans as well as connectivity as well as speed.
They charge very high and costly prepaid plans and give a very limited amount of data and I want to say that the speed that I got from using Airtel 4G hotspot was satisfactory and not to the level that the market and advertise on TV .
Even the hotspot range is not too far and the user has to stay very close to the device to stay connected which was irritating most of the time.
so I won’t recommend Airtel 4G hotspot as of now since there are better options available in the market and the most common example is reliance jio.
