I have been using the device for 3 years. The speed of internet is fine but not that fast as is claimed in the advertisments of Airtel.
I have an ok ok experience of the device as once the company sent me Rs 11, 700 bill and mentioned some booster plans of Rs 11, 395 ( inculding tax) which I had never requested for on the data card no.
On contacting the airtel customer care, first they denied any such mistake and asked me to pay the HUGE fraud bill.
When I asked them to tell me who requested to change it and how ( i.e. by email, phone, etc) , they failed to tell as to how it got changed and then admitted their mistake. They promised that the inappropriate charges would be waived off in 72 hrs
But wait. This was just another lie which they told be next 40 times I called them up. Un total as per the call log, I spent 20 hrs calling them!
Finally after 18 days I contacted the JAGO GRAHAK JAGO helpline where they lodged a complaint against Airtel. After that within a week they accepted their mistake and my actual bill came out to be just 305/-.
Shame on Airtel.
