WORST EVER PRODUCT EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE HAD...

WORST EVER: Airtel 4G is the worst ever product experience that I have ever had.Bought it six months back in Kolkata Gaiahat(number 8585845799).An agent called Bapi Chaki(mobile number 9903563783) called us and sold the dongle & sim.He left the house without providing demo.We weren’t able to use the device  and hence made an complaint to Airtel customer care.


After almost 2 weeks an engineer(Tamal Bhattacharjee, mobile number 9874940751) comes to our house and informs us that Gariahat(our location) doesn’t have the 4G connectivity.He also informed us that he cannot do anything in this problem and it is our fault that we bought airtel 4G connection.He asked us to talk to his boss(Mr Somnath, mobile number 9748832997) but nothing worked out.Somnath gave us the contact of Mr Sunil(purchasing department) to raise the issue.


The story goes on-and-on and I spoke to atleast 10 people from Airtel.The attitude of all the personnel involved pathetic- They were indifferent to our problem, engaged in blame-game within their organization and were behaving as if we have made a mistake by buying airtel 4G.One gentleman went on to the extent of claiming that they donot take responsibility of sold devices. He said that he would try to find out an alternate customer to resale our device and then shall refund the amount.


Then comes a call center nightmare.Despite not providing us the service for even a minute, now airtel staff has started calling me for paying the monthly rental.Daily 4-5 calls from different numbers.Initially I requested all to solve our problem.Funniest part was that they told "we cannot solve your issue or provide you the service as we belong to the payment department.We have called you for paying the dues".


I have lost Rs 4000-5000 without a minute of internet usage and am daily getting bugged by airtel.


My number is 9831149448 and would request any senior manager of airtel to call me to resolve the issue.No call center  employees please.


To other’s I would like to give an advise- DONOT buy airtel dongles believing the brand name of AIRTEL.I am suffering currently.Infact smaller firms are better.They atleast resolve customer complaint.AIRTEL is big, expanding quite fast(without requisite infrastructure) and have so many bureaucratic departments that will take your soul out.


To the digital agencies who manage the facebook page of airtel- Donot delete this post as I shall keep posting it again and again with a counting of the n’th time.


To the marketing department- Resolve the issue instead of providing anymore phone number to us.
