Unhappy with their billing

I am a veteran Airtel Broadband connection user. I have been using the Airtel Broadband connection for the last 4 years, so I can talk about their service from a neutral point of view.


I think speed wise, Airtel is good. However, they fleece you on Value Added services(VAS).


I have heard it from many and experienced it myself that they levy extra charges even when you wouldn’t have got a service activated and then when you tell them that you had never got the freakin’ crazy VAS activated, they wouldn’t listen to you and say that you HAVE GOT it activated.


I feel like slapping these guys when I hear something of that sort. Instead of listening to the customer and deducting the money which was levied, they’ll simply refuse to deduct.


Lately, they charged me Rs 800 extra for the last two months for the VAS which I never got activated and I have seen that this keeps on repeating itself after every 8-9 months.


Out of sheer frustration lest I would lose my solace because of Rs 800, I ended up paying the amount though I hated doing that.


Apart from this, their customer care is very lousy. I’d suggest all to go for Tata Photon or Reliance Data Card or any other service but not Airtel broadband. I also plan to disconnec their service in another 1 month after being assosciated with them for 4 years.
