I had an airtel landline/broadband connection and I was facing after sales services problem with airtel. I was paying for a much higher internet speed but I was not getting the speed as promised by the broadband service provider. I filed a complaint with them in the month of march and then again in April 2012 that i am not getting the services I was promised and they keep on promising that my issue will be resolved. And then in may they sent me a bill and told me to pay that so that I may continue enjoying their services. I requested them that my issue is still pending with you and I will pay the bill once it is resolved.but after that also they did not listen to it.then finally i disconnected the landline and installed a new internet connection with another provider in may. My nightmare started after that .
I started receiving calls from airtel that I have to pay my pending bill and all that. After much arguments i asked them to tell me full n final payment I have to pay and I dont want to keep this connection with me.their executive told me that i have to pay rs 1600 as full and final payment. I did the same the next day. Then after 1 month of this, i again received a call that my bill of rs 800 is pending. I argued with them again but to no affect. Now i am receiving calls from airtel that they ll take legal action.
I request all the readers do not go for airtel. They steal your money. After all, their new advertisement says .
